National Breast Center Foundation Volunteers at the Walk to Bust Cancer

Who We Are

About Us

Improving Access, Improving Results

Recognizing the high incidence and mortality rates of breast cancer in our area compared to the rest of the country, Dr. David. Weintritt knew that something in health care had to change dramatically for those rates to drop.

People needed more education and better access to care, including the technological advances that improve outcomes. With this vision,  the mission of the National Breast Center Foundation was formed.

Today, the National Breast Center Foundation is building a network of cancer-care providers, providing access to discounted services around diagnosing and staging breast cancer and hosting events to raise awareness and funds to expand their services.

Our Team

Our staff has a strong commitment to serving the many constituents of our organization. First and foremost, they focus their energies on those patients referred to our organization for assistance in accessing care.

Our board represents a cross-section of our community and has a passion for our organization and those we serve. The members work hard to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization and oversee that the funds raised directly affect those in need.
